We’ve had guests from all over the world stay with us at the River’s Inn – read comments they’ve so kindly left in our guest book!

Discovering the River’s Inn was a delightful pleasure and living here for a week, I felt deeply at home with not only a lovely and welcoming house, but more importantly a warm and congenial family of both staff and fellow guests.  The company and cooking were satisfying and unforgettable and I look forward to returning to Antonito and the River’s Inn.  With love for the old house and for you all.

To River’s Inn and wonderful hostess:  After a long day’s drive from Phoenix, it was so nice to be welcomed into your home and my every need met.  I especially enjoyed the porch swing with the sun going down, time to relax in the canopy bed with a good book, and the delicious breakfast complete with plenty of coffee.  May God bless your hospitality!

What a beautiful getaway in such a small town.  Our breakfast was perfect for the bike ride to Chama; 3300 feet and 48 miles and I didn’t get hungry until we got there.  So much for Swiss “Birchermuesli”.  Thanks, Ursula!

What a great history (family history, yet) architecture, decor and furnishings you have at the River’s Inn & Swiss Cottage.  The European breakfasts, lead glass windows, woodwork, and inlaid wood floors make the the jewel of Antonito and the Cumbres-Toltec Line.
